If you have 15" wheels, 235's are good, I'm not even sure 255's would work there.  :2cents:

My 235s even rub sometimes with an 8 inch rim.

275 will not fit up front, they barley fit in back.

I have seen 265/50's up front with my own eyes but why you'd want to add extra weight to the front end is beyond me. Traction & control difference will be minimal at best. I have 245/60's up front and no rub, not even close with a 7" Rallye (4-1/4" BS). I do know XV run 275 tires on the front of their cars but that's using their front end kit.

:2cents:

1st Photo = 265/50's up front on an apparently stock front end.
2nd Photo = My car with 245's up front.

Oh, and I voted for "E-Body Wheels".  :dunno: :smilielol: :smilielol: :smilielol:

I guess I don't understand what your asking with your poll.

I'd imagine you could run a 275 up front with careful slection of back spacing and MAYBE some modifications to allow full lock turns or using a 17-18" wheel that allows additional back spacing. I doubt you could just slap some 275 tires on a 15" rim and go. Same out back. Challenger leaf springs are splayed wider in the rear than the front, so what appears to fit in the front of the wheel well may interfere at the rear. However they do have fairly large wheel wells, so it may be physically possible to put a 305 inside the well. Don't forget that tires don't just go up and down perfectly verticel and the arc created by body roll can cause what would be a snug fit to rub somewhere.

The car in my avatar has 235 front and 295 rear and has never rubbed with a 15x8 4.75 rear space wheel on both ends.
