I love stock looking engines whether they are actually stock or not. I even went to the trouble of grinding off the Edelbrock logo on a LD340 intake years ago and painting the intake the same as the block to keep it stealthy. I love the old saying of walking softly and carrying a big stick. I know its not true of most mopars and its certainly not true of yours Stroker, but to me there is nothing worse than a fancy looking engine that falls on its own face  :walkaway:
There was a kid here a long time ago who had a nice 73 Rallye Challenger that his dad bought for him. They rebuilt the original 340. The kid made sure everyone knew how much money was in that motor(a lot) but the thing was a real dog for some reason and people were always laughing at the "Mopar" that even a stock Z-28 could whip.

My buddy powdercoated his intake, valve covers, and air cleaner a silver or chrome, and I thought it looked pretty good.

How do you brush it???

I use a scotch brite wheel and polishing belt on pedestal grinder and belt sander. I also work the areas that I can not get by hand and then blend it all with a uniform pass by hand.
