That's a ford holley carb you got on there isn't it? I see the ford kick down on it. Looks as if you tighten everything up and put it line and install the washers as was posted, it will do fine. The pivot hight has to be close to correct and not over centered though or it will not be able to return back without a bind. And remember that a heavier spring might fix that problem, but will cause throttle shaft wear and then you end up with vacuum leaks and other problems you dont want.
