Follow up:No oil in rocker arms

I loosened the bolts that hold the rocker arm rod (5 bolts) one at a time. I noticed that oil comes out of the last three bolts holes. I also noticed that the third lifter on the affected side is working but not loose ( does not slide out when I take the rod out). I am going to try pouring mystery oil to see if the holes are clogged. Is there anything else that I can try.
