Parking brake assambly..??????

Just got my P-Brake wires on...

BUT..???

There is no way the intermediate cable will be long enough to get the support hook in the middle on to the cross member..???

Do you guys have the wire over or under the exhaust system..???

On my '73 it is below the exhaust, actually rubs on it...is all original.

I used a long screwdriver to pry it into the hole in the tranny mount, almost like setting a brake shoe spring, if you know what i mean, it was tight, but the brake worked fine after & does not drag. Rich.

I need to have the wire, or the support hook, at least 6" longer to get it on..???

Hmmm, mine looked to be about 3 or 4 inches short when stretching it all I could by hand, good luck, i'm out of ideas. Rich.
