I could not find the EXAD AVX2 on the JVC website but I did find a couple of others. The one you are looking at is single din size Paul so you should be good to go on installation  :2thumbs: Here is a GPS version,

Yea, I saw that 5000 model before. I read the reviews on it only to find out that the GPS/NAV portion REQUIRES a signal from a vehicle speed sensor wire. That and the $1K price tag made me cross that one off the wish list.

a little hijack porfavor.. I don't know what a DIN is (std. openning?), but what is the stock '70 opening called with am/fm?

Do they still make something that'll fit without modifying the dash and if so how is the size referred to?

The radio fits but the Dash trim is the problem.  I got a picture on this thread.
