73 Low Compressions Pistons
« on: May 22, 2007 - 09:09:48 AM »
Any body know what the piston volume and compression distance is for the lower compression replacement pistons for a 340. They are the four valve relief ones. I couldnt find a part number on them any where and Im doing a little number crunching to see what everything will work out to be with different heads. For some reason it had "302" fast burn heads on it...assuming to bump up the C.R., but i have a set of ported magnum heads i would like to use for a magnum conversion.

Thanks in advance
Dave

the 4 valve relief piston is usually the 10:1 piston & with swirl heads the compression will be up
do you have a measurement from piston to deck @ TDC?
