88-90cc , they are supposed to be 88 but do vary

Edelbrock has an aftermarket setup with 84cc's...  What's the advantage/disadvantage/idea to this?

84ccs will give you a little higher compression. The Indy 440EZ heads are available with 78cc chambers.

the reality is the Eddy head at 84 cc will raise static compression But the heat loss to alum is equal to 1 point of compression Loss so net gain is -.6 compression , to clarify you will lose approx 6/10 of a point of compression in effective cylinder heat so it will act as though you dropped not raised compression
