Small Block Oil Pump Gasket?

Silly question but... is there a gasket between the oil pump and the rear main cap?

These were not used from factory, aftermarket pumps and non Mopar gasket sets come with them. These are 2 machined surfaces you shouldn't need a gasket.

I didn't use one on the last build.  Oil pressure was fine so I assume no leakage.  I've got the oil pump off again so I thought I'd check it out.  Adding a gasket can't hurt.

A very thin amount of ultra grey silicone works for me....
