Help! Whats the easiest way to get an ignition key?
« on: May 21, 2007 - 07:51:20 AM »
I've never removed the ignition cylinder, is that the only method for getting a key? Is so, any instruction would be greatly appreciated.

PS: I did not lose my keys, bought the car w/o any!

I also need the following: 4" long Plymouth emblem for the drivers side front of the hood, front wheel moldings, SLAP STIC knob (T handle only), electonic distributor, carb, and heads for a 360.

If no body has changed any of the locks, you can pull the door lock and take it to a lock smith. Or pay a lock smith to come and make an ignition key for you. That costs a service call and around 10 bucks. They just bring a blank and a file and make it right there on the spot.

Or pull the crush tube and undo the turn signal stuff then 3 screws to uncover a plate which gives you access to the switch.
