Hey Pistol Gripper- I recognize some of those parts in your intro photo. I have the same.

11's ?  There is already another motor on the drawing board.

Mr. 1973Challenger360- My motor is a .o40 over 360 with flat top pistons. The resulting compression with the ported edelbrocks is 10.5 to 1. Engle 285H Cam
Edelbrock Air Gap Intake, 727 Torque-flite, B&M 2400 converter,    Demon 750 cfm,  Dougs Ceramic
Coated Headers, 2 1/2 in. Exhaust (mandrel bent), 3.55 Sure-Grip and B.F. Goodrich Drag Radials. Snubber Fitting.
And my favorite new component is the FBO ignition.
Replacing the orange box with FBO's box made a big difference!

Hello SteveO,
Can you elaborate on the FBO ignition? Who makes it, and where can I get any info on it? Thanks.

Glad you asked. I could not believe the difference in my cars performance with FBO's ignition system.

Here's their site  http://www.4secondsflat.com/

 Email them and ask about:
Bullet Coil and Super Hot Bullet Ignition Box, cap and rotor setup  $99

Hey Stev,
Nice car and sweet times!!!!! I just traded my 67 Nova for a 71 Challenger...The Nova was nice but the Challenger is one of my all time favorites. I plan to restore it this winter. It's a numbers matching 340 RT. Gonna repaint it to origonal butterscotch!!!!!
I'm from Massachusetts near the RI, CT borders.
My friend is cloning a 71 hemi cuda convertible....he falls into the best deals....it's one of those found it in a barn in Vermont, and drove it home stories......it happens to him all the time!!!!!!!!   I'll get some pics of both cars and post them as soon as I can.

Again.......NICE CAR!!! 8)
