Fly out to San Jose airport and pick up my dually and trailer as to go to work :swear: :pullinghair:  Which means leave the family for the month.  So we will start out our weekend today

Going to some flea markets, country cruisin, BB pit, and whatever else my honey wants to do.

I'm thinking about replacing the clutch in my Saturn.  Been putting it off for a while and its getting pretty weak.  Bought a shop manual for the car turned to the clutch section, Chapter one sentence one reads, When replacing the clutch remove entire engine, transaxle assembly :scared:  So, I have to roll my 'Cuda project out of the garage and cover it. The bad part is that the county has been cracking down on untagged vehicles alot lately, I hope they stay away.  Anyone wanna help?

I live in eastern Virginia and this weekend is the Suffolk Raceway Reunion. :droolingbounce: It was a 1/4 mile drag strip that utilized an old airport runway. :burnout: It was THE dragstrip to go to in the 1960's up through the mid 80's when it closed for good. Some of the most well known drag racers of that era raced there. The late Ronnie Sox's wife will be at the reunion along with some other famous folks. It will be an awesome time, many events, show cars, drag cars ect. You can check out the web site at www.suffolkracewayreunion.com  Click on the link for pictures. There are some really cool pictures from drag races from the 60's and 70's....pretty cool!! :2thumbs:  :ylsuper: Have a great and safe Memorial Day weekend. Remember our vets!!!!!

The wife and I are just hanging around the house. We were planning on painting the open trailer but it sounds like cold and rain so I don't know if it will happen. Everyone have a safe weekend !!

I took Friday off so I will have a 4 day weekend.  First days off from work (other than weekends) since January 1st! :eek4:
Needless to say I'm looking forward to 4 days off. :2thumbs: :2thumbs:
Tomorrow and maybe Saturday I am heading off to Belvidere IL to check out the Mecum auction.  1500 cars are being auctioned including a '71 Sox and Martin cuda, at least 4 real hemi Challengers, a number of T/A's and AARs, hemi cudas, wing cars, etc etc.  Not too many places where you can see that many top shelf cars in one place, too bad I can't afford to buy any of them!!!!!!!!!
I'll be taking lots of pictures and will try to post some here! :picture:

Stay away Mr. Murphy!! :villagers: :villagers:

My plans?? Since my only transportation will be away from me and at the shop, that means yardwork for your humble narrator. Ojoy :dogpile:
