Next time you go to a swap meet, see if you can find an issue of Hot Rod from Sept to Dec of 1969. In these are the big factory ads for the new car lines. For 1970, Mopar had a cuda with every color available stripped out on it. While freaky looking all together, there are actually some very cool shades in there.
Personally I don't care for high impact colors. Probably because they are solids and I prefer metallics. I typically use later model colors because they easy to get from vendors without getting into details of what the specifics of the mix are. I'v eseen guys argueing over whether their order of B5 is correct against the original because of the changesin compounds over the years. I don't care to go down that road myself, but then again, none of my cars are ultra rare, high dollar collectibles either.
