Removing tint

Hello to all,
anyone got an easy way to remove window tint, mainly the gluey residue left by it ?
I just bought a Cherokee (94 Sport 4WD) and it has some old tint that is stubborn.
I am concerned with the rear window defroster wires / grid

I have heard of people using Goop, and also people using many applications of Windex. Good luck, as that sounds like a $ucky job.

Acrylic solvent will remove just about anything, which is also the problem with it. If you use it make sure that you don't get it on any rubber seals or upholstery. You can get it at body shop supply places.

I also believe Windex glass cleaner will take the glue off also.

Taking the sticky stuff off is easy. Leaving your defroster wires intact in another issue. Try xylene... carefully...
