Got a great deal on some 73 Challenger parts.
« on: May 26, 2007 - 08:21:26 PM »
I was talking to a guy about some Challenger parts. He made me a super deal because he just wanted to get rid of everything.

2 front seats
2 rear interior panels
2 front pillar pieces
2 kick panels
2 rear windows
2 sill plates
4 headliner bows(rods)
2 headers for a 340
1 4-speed console with woodgrain insert
1 complete dash assembly with nice pad and rally guages in great shape

The only thing that bummed me out was that he took the white front door panels, painted them black, and used them in his car.
If it weren't for that, I could have had a complete white interior.

Anyway, best thing of all: $200 for everything.

Holy crap!! You bastard!  :smilielol: That's awesome, you did well.
We need a "Buy of the Month Award section" you would be in the lead by a country mile.

He didn't have any 73 Cuda parts did he?  :naughty: :dunno:

That 4 speed console alone is worth almost double that, good job!   :2thumbs:

I don't know what kind they are. I didn't really look at them for any kind of markings. They're rusty but still solid. I did notice a small hole in the bottom of one of the collectors, like it ran into something.

He didn't have any Cuda stuff.

He also had a really nice flip top gas cap, but decided to keep it at the last minute. He also said that he had a rim-blow steering wheel someplace, but didn't know where it is.

Rallye gauges are worth at least that much alone, a lot more if they are in as good of shape as those look in.  Nice find!
