dont laugh we found a salvage yard that way.people had told us about the place. was owned by a man who was very difficult to deal with.would tell you to call back in two weeks.and then tell you to call back in 4 weeks.most just got frustrated and gave up. most people from this area didnt even know about it.would love to spend the day in there.

yes it's a cool site. I've used it to revisit every place I've lived since birth. Just enter the address. Best with high speed connect.
Maybe I'm paranoid, but seems like a convenient tool for the islamo fascist to use in planning the death of us infidels though.

Great site, I've used it for a while now. It's pretty cool to see all the neat places you'd like to visit. I haven't looked yet, but I understand Area 51 is visible.

Have any of you guys ever found your own car on Google Earth?

I ask because mine was on there in two different locations at the same time!

They recently updated the images taken over my area so now it shows a Jeep Cherokee on my drive instead of the Challenger. But that still leaves one shot of it on a freinds driveway.

Then I was checking out Microsofts version called Virtual Earth. There was my Challenger on the drive again! :lol2:

So I was wondering if anyone else can see their MoPar on these things and has anyone else got a car in two places at the same time?

The county I live in uses this to go after anyone who has (in their opinion) too many cars, an ugly car, an old car, etc.  For instance a friend had an unlicensed car in the middle of five acres.  The county nailed him for it since it was unlicensed.  Before these Satellite views they had to justify coming onto the property to find cars like this.  I guess it is like anything; it can be used for good or bad.

I dissagree with you and have volumes of proof why.  We are all entitled to our opinions.

Not to send this topic into a spiral effect, but probably half the reason we have been catching these terrorist plots lately before they have happened is because of tools like this and others that we don't know about.

:iagree: As I stated earlier it can be used for good or bad.   I did try it to look up some old junk yards I used to go to.
