bucket seats
« on: June 12, 2007 - 12:05:57 PM »
Hi,
Can anyone tell me if new cushions and covers from a 1970 barracuda fit 1970 duster bucket seats?

I can get a pair of decent duster seats for free, and want to put them in my 1970 challenger deputy

Thanks

Antoon

to my knowledge the seat frames are the same , it is just the pads & covers that are different

I thought that would be the case. They look very similar. The only big difference I know is that on a-body seats the seat back flip over side ways, and on an e-body they flip straight forward.

the only seats I can think of that flip sideways are the bench seats , if the seats flip differently the frame must be differently

Sounds true, but as long as the size is the same, so I can put on the 1970 barracuda covers and foam, than it's allright by me.
I live in the netherlands, and here it's very difficult/expensive to buy a good set of bucket seats.
I could check epay, but everything I purchase on epay doubles in price before it gets here >:(
