Nice.  I like a bumblebee on any car.   :grinyes:

The orange is a shade lighter but so what?  It looks better than a hit and run, thats for sure.

My theory is that if it looks better than it did,  :woo:

That stripe came out really nice - I'm glad you are happy with it.

I went through a debate about which paint type to use, and I ended up going with the glossy.  It looks like you chose a satin paint, and it also looks really nice.

from what i researched it was suppoesed to be satin, but that glossy looks so classy. i really do like the stripe, and it wasnt all that hard to mask off and paint. took about 30 min. the only thing that i dont like is that we painted the rear of the car with a different kind of paint then the rest of the car was painted with. from the doors forward it is base coat clear coat and the rear is centari. i dont know if it is really as noticeable to everyone else but it screams to me.

Looks like your stripe turned out great.  Mine is being painted this week.  Using semigloss paint.  The painter was originally going to use gloss and do the stripe first but decided to do the yellow first as the semigloss won't get the clearcoat..........

I love those stripes. I saw a body guy take masking tape and stick it to his pants and then to the car. I asked and he said it takes bite off the tape and keeps it from taking paint when it is peeled off. Dont know if that helps anyone but after he explained it I saw the logic in it.

I went with Barry's advice on my car, and made them glossy (And the factory paint codes for the stripes were the glossy colors).  But there are certainly quite a few done in the satin, and that article from Mopar stated that they should be satin  :clueless:  But the BB stripes look good either way, IMHO.

Dayley/Challenger...Your car is looking great.  I keep checking your progress on the site, and it is really coming along.  I cannot wait to see your stripes when they're painted!

i have seen them both ways and found articles saying both, either way, i like the look of both, for my burnt orange, i think the satin looks best

Great job- also I take note of what Barry said but mine went on semigloss to match the hood RT scheme. I heard they never made two bb stripes the same .................. so that also makes yours perfect like everyone elses
