I don't really know why I'm typing this, other than to sorta re-introduce myself to you guys before I start asking E-body reassembly questions, making fun of all the guys with the goofy 17" and larger wheels on their Mopars and the "Faux-Touring" cars that can't pull a G on a skid-pad!!
Good to see a few familiar faces, NZ's VP clone came a long since I've been gone, it'll be interesting to see everyone else's stuff.
The picture above is the most current one I have of my Challenger, and it doesn't look any better now that I've gone gung-ho into it, but I'll post more as I make more progress.
It's been a couple years since I last plugged in here, I put my Challenger on the back burner a couple years ago when I went head over heels into the "Hot Rod" scene. I just loved the free-form way you could build a Hot Rod, the Mopar scene had almost become stale and stuffy, like a paint-by-numbers car. So I screwed together a few 50's Mopar cars, a '31 Ford coupe, all Mopar powered of course, and a couple Chevy trucks as beaters, and I've been gearing up to build a '31 Ford Roadster, Mopar powered as well.
I got bit by the Challenger bug again recently, I've been using welding and fab skills I learned with the hot rods to fix the few rust holes in the window channels on my Challenger, then I started buying parts again, and hanging around here lurking, so I guess I figured it was time to say "Hi!" again.
