Ignition switch failing????
« on: October 24, 2007 - 11:54:29 PM »
I have what seems to be a bad ignition switch.

It started earlier in the summer when I took the car out for a good drive. It would always start fine but then after the ride the car would not start. It almost resembled vapor lock, but I had plenty of fuel. I also checked for spark and that was good also. Then one day I started to play with the key and it fired up. It seems if I turn the key all the way forward, then roll it back slowly it starts on the first or second try. So am i crazy or is this a common issue with the original switch.
