Fan belt tensioner
« on: June 07, 2007 - 06:52:12 PM »
I hate to put my old fan belt tensioner ( big block with A/C ) wheel back on my car but I can't find a new one anywhere, not even YO. has anyone found one that will work off another model or make or something? replacing the bearing looks impossible.

Standard/4 seasons lists an idler pulley. If I remember right the tensioner is for the P/S - W/P belt? it's been a while since I saw one....

Sure. It is kind of hard to get a good pic. because of the angle.

Ha, I was just looking at that very thing today, thinking about if that is where my dry bearing noise is coming from.   :pullinghair:
