Auctions going crazy today
« on: June 14, 2007 - 03:40:13 PM »
Went down to the auctions today and they had lots of cars and trucks today.  A Vert mid eighties Rustang went for $100 and a decent 1ton Dodge truck went for $275

I got a '89 Kamero IRAK V-28  :grinyes:

I better have a Chebbie sale around here pretty soon. Dang F-bodies are starting to pile up.

It is the 5.7/700R4.  I wont be able to look at it until monday but it is a comeplete project car with original paint and slight fender damage. I got it for $250.  It has the level 1 suspension and T-tops but typical steering column damage and the optional IROC 15" wheels  :swear:

Rust free Arizona car

Probably too nice to part out but I will work on getting it running and decide what to do then.

I dragged the Irok home the other day and checked it out.  I spoke with the auction people and the story is it blew the engine and the local Chebbie dealership replaced it but the owners couldn't pay so the dealership put it on a mechanic's lein and out to a storage lot.
It has sat there since 2002 and in that time the fender was damaged and windshield blown out with a brick.
The good news is it has a brand new (5 year old engine) in it but the bad news is it's a 305  :dunno:

Not bad for twofiddy but not great either

:2thumbs: Twofiddy!great steal i mean deal even if it has the 305 motor altough it would have been great if it had the LT1 motor.drove these cars a few times and they are fun to drive, great handeling cars.looks like all it needs is repaint and the minor items you mentioned and you could make some good money of it on resale.good find.  Dave.............
