Hit & run!!!!!!!
« on: June 29, 2007 - 06:00:13 PM »
Wifey got t-boned today & the ditz that hit her took off, :swear: lucky someone got the plates & when the police ran em they matched the description of the car, she's in for a parcel a tickets! My wife is ok so far, but scared the crap outta her, pushed her into oncomming traffic, truck commin right at her, they both were able to swerve enough for a near miss! Whew, I was just passing buy a few mineuts later & hung around till the police got the reports ready & she got her legs back, only a few blocks from home.   :pullinghair: Rich.

What a bummer, also glad to hear she's OK. She sure deserves some kudos for the quick thinking and action to swerve.

Good news that she is /will be OK. The other diver obviously had a few reasons for not stopping, and I'm sure among others, no insurance.

We will see what her story is, for now my insurance will pay, I pay 500 deductable, they go after her for that later, or I can wait & let her ins pay(if it's there) . I'll wait for the police report after they catch up with the other driver & see what my options are.
Funny, but kinda glad it's just the merc  :naughty: really didn't bother me as much as this kind of thing used to  my cars are kept a long time, but they are clean & maintained, either i'm mellowing out in my old age, or this is the reason I bougth my first ford product  :dunno: ( cause it's just the family driver & not really "My Baby" ) no attachment here after 8 years!  ;) Rich.

Glad she's ok. I remember a stupid woman hit and busted up a kid on a bike in their neighborhood a few years ago. The woman lived in the neighborhood and went and parked in her driveway. She claimed she didn't even know she had hit anything. She got the book thrown at her.
