I thought I'd pass this info. along to anyone else who may have one of these old tachometers sitting in a stash of leftover parts.  Last months issue of Mopar Muscle had a small article towards the back stating that the old Sun Super Tachs are bringing good money if they're in nice working condition.  Shortly after reading the article, I Googled the one that came in a box of parts with my '69 Charger and let's just say I'm happy to say the first one I saw on eBay brought close to what I sold the entire car for! (granted I sold it as a parts car, but still.)  I've decided it's probably best to stick it up for sale now while they're still red hot, so here's a link if anyone wants to watch what it sells for. (I'm expecting around $200-$240.00 after watching other auctions for around a week or so.) :money: towards my Stealth R/T TT purchase. :woo:

I probably should add that I think the typical prices for these tachs have been around the same price as new Autometer 5" tachs.  I'm not complaining, but it's something what people with '69 cars will pay for era correct aftermarket parts. :faint:

Interesting, I put one in my 69 Chevelle 25 years ago and I still thinks it looks good there. Any one know of any repair parts available if a swap meet special comes my way..........J

I don't get it. For rat rods or just a nostalgic look?

The ones I see that are similar to mine seem to go into '69 Z-28's and Mustangs, so I'd assume they just want to use a nostalgic tachometer instead of an Autometer or SW.  As of now, it looks like there will be a decent bidding war towards the end of the auction. :money:
