Welcome to the site and sorry to hear about the car that almost was.  Don't fret, your car will be out there somewhere. Stick around as 90% of members offer their cars on this forum before anywhere else (eBay, Autabuy, etc) so we're lucky enough to have many nice cars floating through and I'm sure, one with your name on it is floating this way. Nice Charger by the way, guess you should be happy you're not Mopar-less!

The opportunities are still out there...few of them but still there.

Welcome to the site Bob.
Your story is sad that is true.  Things like that don't happen very often these days.  Before Dan built Pink Ice we had a friend call us and tell us that another freind had just turned down buying a 1971 Barracuda pretty cheap.  We called the friend to see why he turned it down and he said it was pretty rusty.  So, we asked him who had it because we wanted to see it for ourselves and decide if it was bad.  The guy that had it for sell had just sold it to someone else that was a Chevy guy.  Well we could not let a Chevy guy have the car so we found out the guys name and went over to see the car.  It was in pretty good shape after all.  The guy said he would sell it to us for $1000 more than he paid for it and we could not get the money fast enough.  That car wound up being Pink Ice.
About 2 months ago a guy called Dan out of the blue and said he had a couple of old Mopars and had heard we were into Mopars.  The guy said he would let us have them real cheap because he needed to get them off his property.  Dan went out there to see them and they wound up being old 4 door cars.  Only 1 car was a Mopar the other one was a Mercury.   You would think the guy could read on the car that it said Mercury.  Oh well, you never know these days.  We have no idea who gave this guy our number.

Cuda or Challenger has always been my choice of style but when I was looking a few years ago the Charger was more in my price range. Ther is a 71 Cuda for sale locally. It needs everything except the roof. From the roof down it's missing everything. Still he wants $6,500.00
