lb69 the truck is the only vehicle(so far) i've bought new. Sold it in '90 and bought it back in '94 after 4 years as a farm truck. The dents and scrapes were smoothed out and the bed had to be replaced because a trailer it was pulling had jacknifed and smacked it up pretty good. The paint and bodywork were finished in '95 and still look great. Not to tempt fate but while i've owned it (before selling and after buying it back) i've not had one ticket or collision...ummm...so far
NZ 440RT unfortunately neither one is #'s matching. The RT/SE came to me with a '71 440 in it-with headers-and a 67 intake-and Holley 4bbl. Not sure about the trans but i doubt it's original. Curiously it's coded as an A36 car and the original radiator and power steering cooler are still there. Bought new at Royal Oak (now Hunter) Dodge in Detroit; picked up as an abandoned vehicle by the local Police and auctioned off to the second owner who i bought it from in '93. Maybe a former street racer on Woodward Avenue?
Thanks, Rev. so far i have two used overhead consoles, two NOS rear trim panels and a like new pair of the SE medallions that go on the sail panels which came off a new SE that was wrecked in late '70. Like you guys i long for a garage - your site is a great inspiration!!
