The screws you can see if you look down the windshield and they are in there, but like some other guys said earlier it is very doable. Good Luck with the tear down and lets see if you can beat buzzards record! :droolingbounce: :working:

For those of you that may read this post at a later date, I figured it out last night: :clapping:
1) Remove gauges and disconnect wiring
2) Remove 4 screws in the ductwork, there is two on each side.
3) Drop the steering wheel
4) Remove the two bolts that are at either side of the dash, located next to the kick panel
5) Disconnect the wiring harness from the firewall.

And then pull you entire dash out!!! :eek4: :cooldancing:

Hope this helps someone elso out there and makes it a little easier for you than it was for me :2thumbs:
 :working:

Car did not have a radio or speedometer cable in it?

Would have been easier to pull the dash with the cluster in it.

Radio I had already took out.....fairly easy to see that it has to come out anyway. A for the speedo cable see step 1...
And I prefer to take the gauges out anyway, so I can see what I'm up against and make sure nothing is going to catch during the removal....

This may be a stupid question, but, how do you get the gauges out before removing the dash. :clueless: Is there a way of removing them from the front? :dunno:

Magic tool Snap-On #SDDP162. Makes thoes 4 little ***** screws come out. This is a 16" #2 phillips screw MACHINE. I feel don't remove your guages etc. unless you want to damage them. It is so easy to remove the complete thing    as a unit. The side bolts were the last to come out. I'll take on all.                    Buzzard.
