Small and big block 833 are basically the same, so is the slant 6.
You will need to check the dia. of the front bearing cover as there are 3 different dia's. For a big block the larger dia. is prefered if any serious racing is on the horizon.
The E body rear housing is different to the A body and B body. You will need a housing with two mounting pads on it, B body use the front one the E body use the rear one. These boxes are also found in some later cars and vans as well, but they are usually O.D. boxes.
Most slip yokes are the same as the 727 auto's but a handfull had the smaller 904. There are two different size splines on the input shaft, the coarse were on high HP 440's and Hemi's the rest are a finer spline.
Make sure you get the right length shifter rods. Brewers and a others supply most of these parts.
