I use UPS with a commercial account. I tried to ship a rear quarter from my race car at the UPS store and they wanted around $80.00, Fed Ex was about the same. I used my commercial account with UPS and it was like $35.00.

I have had real good luck with FedEx Ground.  Super cheap and usually delivered in 3 days

For what it's worth, the size of the box is critical. Don't have one any bigger than necessary. I shipped one from Maryland to Texas 3-4 years ago for about $40.

I understand, but $120 is crazy, unless he is shipping overnight, or second day delivery. I think he can do much better.   :2cents:

Size does matter!! :smilielol: :smilielol: :smilielol:
I just shipped a set of rear floor pan sections. Used UPS ground and it ended up costing me 19 bucks. Not too bad for a bulky package. I definitely agree with Mike. Use as small a box as will allow for shipping!! Good luck!!

I went in to a UPS store 2 years ago to inquire about packaging and shipping my Challenger grille to the Montreal area from Chicago for restoration, and they quoted me appoximately $250!  :eek4:
Needless to say I never shipped the grille. :'(

There was no way around it being oversize. The $120 quote I got from a poastal service store and either they screwed up or they tack on double what it really costs.iIwent directly to a FedEx shipping terminal and it only cost $61 and change which was right on there online estimate. It`s a little further to drive but after this I`ll deal directly with the shipper and no more middle man!
