A guy I work with is into Hot Rods and Muscle Cars. He is in the midst of creating a new auction site, similar to eGouge for pre 1980 US cars, parts etc. There will be it looks like over 900 categories to list in. Cars, parts, services, models, clothes, radio control, pedal cars, racing parts, vintage parts, etc. The only thing is, the stuff has to be car related, no Beanie Babies, no cell phones, NO RICE !! In case you're wondering, he has the resources to pull it off.
He's planning on just a listing fee, less than what you're used to, no final fees. He is a car guy who's tired of having to compete with dolls & Pokemon card sellers. One neat thing, a swap feature, you want to trade an item you listed for one someone else listed, you both just need to click a button.
This is a few months away, anything you guys / gals would like to see ? I can probably answer most questions myself, but I can find out anything you want to know.
