Thans again!! As of last night she still dosn't want to talk to us and doesn't want us to come over. We really have no idea as to what to do. If we try to call we get yelled at so we have not tried to go over there lately. Guess we will just sit tight and wait.

Maybe call your family doctor and see what he says to for her. Her hormones and emotions are of the chart right now. Just let her know your there for her. She knows her Mom and Dad love her. She just doesn't know how to deal with. Good luck.

Here is my input...
The only person who will be able to help her at this moment, is her husband.  Her dad is 3rd on the list, but it is a distant 3rd.  Her mom is a 2nd, but unless there is history of mom and miscarriages, she will likely not reach out there too much either.  She feels like she failed.   She is wondering what SHE did that caused it.  Even though everyone out there is telling her it's not her fault, she believes it is.

The primary reason that the only one who can make a big difference is the husband, is he is the only one who can tell her, "I lost the child too"   Other women who miscarried, (mom too possbily) can say they understand, but they didn't lose this baby.   The husband has the right to say that "it was my child too" and "I lost the child too", unfortunately, no one else can make that statement.  That is what my wife needed to hear when we lost ours.  Once someone could actually relate, and had equal "stake" in the pregnancy, she started to bring the walls back down, and return to normalcy.

This is what we went through.  I hope some of it helps.  Best Wishes to all involved.  :angelwings:

I couldn't agree with you more. The problem is her husband is in Iraq right now and will not be back for a year. For now we are just going to give her space and see what happenes.

I wish you the best. I have an aunt that had 4 or 5 miscarriages. This was all before I was old enough to know what was going on, but I do know it messed with her head. Thankfully, she finally carried a daughter to full term. Her daughter is now in her early 40's and trying to adopt because her and her husband have had the same problem.   :pullinghair:

Under the circumstances Ken I wonder if the military would grant him berevement time to return for a couple weeks. I agree 100 per cent with backtobasics, he really was on target with his assessment. God bless you all.
