Have you tried Barry's historical site for the engineering drawings?  I don't have the link here.  Maybe someone can post it if you need it.

Hi Barry,

You helped me with the blackout area on the front of my Challenger on another board.  I unfortunately didn't get the car to Carlisle, as the convertible top guy "stood me up".  I was there, though.  I am now putting the finishing touches on the car, including the fender emblems.  To be honest with you, I can't really figure out what the drawing you posted is trying to say for the 71.  I tool tons of pics at Carlisle, including all the high-dollar restos, and all of them had the emblem about 1 and 1/2 inches below the fender line.  I saw a really nice survivor that had the emblem almost right on the fender line, which looks close to what the picture is showing on your drawing, at least to my eye.  Any help would be appreciated!

Bob

Well Bob, I saw your post and went and measured right away because I forgot.  I got about 2.25 inches down from the accent line to the top of the "C".  I looked closer at the emblems too, and it looked like they may have been re-stuck on at some point.   :dunno:
