help a newbie from North Jersey....please please 4spd tranny, 2nd gear pop

help all!  my car is being shipped from Texas this week it should arrive...
the seller called me today and was honest by stating while loading in the trailer she would kick oout of 2nd gear...

he said he didnt have any time to adjust hte linkage due to the trnsaporter being there...

he states that its a minor fix, the linkage needs adjustment it supposedly been totally rebuilt... guy has a good rep.... but who knows...

my transporter  says the car is mint, i trust the transporter, i know him well, i am just "nerved up" about the 2nd gear issue...

anyone  know of a trans guy in North Jersey that can be trusted? and not rape me?

i am scared to death of trannys and wont mess with it, engines i like...trannys i hate!
please please please anyone....HELP ME!

Mike don't worry . . when you get the car, I'm sure you can make the adjustment yourself if it is the linkage.  All you have to do is pull out a clip then spin the connector alittle and then put the clip back.  Should be an easy fix!
