How about a 1942 Dodge panel truck with a mid 80's (318/904 I belive) mopar chassis under it? It runs fine right now and can even be used as a daily driver if you want to. It's got a lot done to it and he just put it up for sale not long ago. Here's a link to some pics of it. http://www.moparnuts.com/forums/vbpicgallery.php?do=view&g=65 PM me if want his contact info. I'm not sure but I belive he was asking well under 20K for it.

I'll try adding pics below just in case the link doesn't allow you to view the pics.

EDIT: Forgot to add, Located in San Diego CA.

Talk to conv340, his dodge panel wagon was for sale a couple months ago at the Ohlone (Fremont, CA) mopar show.
70 Cuda, 7.0L Gen-III Hemi, Viper T56 w/9310 gearset, 3.91's, Megasquirt MS3x v3.57, Innovate wideband, Firm Feel upper arms, torsion bars, springs and strut rods, QA1 DA shocks. I did everything on this car except the fancy paint stuff and I drive it...and I can't seem to stop messing with it....

I'd LOVE to get another panel some day soon as well.  Sold my '36 Humpback about 1-1/2 years ago and miss it
