Can anyone tell me where to purchase a 1972 Challenger Rear Bumper other than from Year One?  I have ordered a ton of stuff from them but here lately it seems that everything is on back order and I need this item as soon as possible?

I tried to order one from Year One in April and they told me September at the earliest, so I had mine re-chromed.  When I asked why the long lead time, they said there was only one supplier making them and that he was slow.  When I suggested that they order a few and keep them on hand, the guy on the phone said that, if they did, that, people would just buy them up.  Strange, I thought that was the reason for being in business...

Thast must be the company line.  I spoke with a Year One representative just last night about a challenger grill emblem that I ordered seven (7) months ago and he told me the same thing about there being only one supplier and that he was slow.  Maybe we should locate these suppliers and order direct.  maybe then Year one will speed it up.  Who knows their prices may drop some as well.
