Good eye ,  Don Carlton did the same with several of the Dusters.....

Most of the racers just updated the sheetmetal/grills/taillights on a proven chassis. Sox and Martin did it, Carlton....much easier to replace sheetmetal that to work the bugs out of a new chassis setup. The old Peter Principle in action.
