I slept right through a 4.2
« on: July 20, 2007 - 09:44:58 AM »
The Hayward fault woke up with a 4.2 this morning. Some light merchandise damage in stores being reported. Happened around 4:42 PST this morning. No damage at my place. I slept right through it. I heard it lasted like 2 seconds.

The big one is coming. It's been overdue and she's already 9 months pregnant.

This one was reported as being a really sharp jolt. One person said it felt like his house was hit by a truck that rammed his house.

What is the scariest, is the aftershocks because your nerves are so frayed from the initial quake.

In 89', I had earthquake dreams for months afterwards. I was 5 miles from the epicenter then. Now I'm 3 miles from the fault line of the Hayward fault.

We don't have to worry about earth quakes much out here in Nebraska. It's just those dang tornados you have to watch out for.
