Oh great, and the crooked cop(aren't they all) chimes in. J/K 392heminut.
392, I was a little upset about a generalization (the pier queers coment) made toward the sea services. I went on the offense and decided to edit my initial response as did Sleepy.
How sincere would you be if "no offense, but these PIGS are really starting to piss me off".

Banter between the services happens all the time. I have been called many things, such as wingnut, sky cop, desk pilot, etc. I don't take it offensively I play back as well. However, I agree with 392 on the fact that if Sleepy wants to post it in the proper section and get feedback form the many military members here thats fine. No one in here had to post if they didnt want too or read the section; but if you did take offense to something he said it would have been best resolved in a PM rather then steer the thread off course.

Sleepy let us know what happens.

She called and said that she is going to let it slide because she is just there till sunday then doesnt have to deal with any of those folks again. she doesnt feel that this event was handled properly but they told her that if she decided to persue it that it could affect her adversly and she doesnt want that chance since she is in the CSPI program (AF equivelint to what used to be boot strap)

Go-fish, glad you were just kidding, I took my job very serious and would have never done anything to tarnish that badge! As for the pier queers comment I guess that was edited out before I read the thread and I would have taken offense to something like that too. Name calling like that reflects on the maturity of the poster, and it probably should have been dealt with in a PM to the poster or by reporting the post to a moderator. Seems the incident has been resolved now though.

I'd say report it to JAG or the local EEO officer, heck her company commander should care cause its a** on the line.  As an officer, I'd be ticked if this happened to one of my people.  If that don't work, go there and beat the crap out of them and teach not to mess with big bro's sister ;) :lol2:

She left that station today for one in CT so she just kindda brushed it off. Again I appoligize for the uncalled for statement, did not intend any offense and realize how some would take it offensively, and also i appreciate everyones reccomendations.

A little banter on my part helped me get over it, LOL. I am the kind of guy that has to jab back, sometimes it is a fault of mine. Nobody got hurt and everyone is still members here so it's water under the bridge.
392Heminut, I ad a conversation with a LEO the other night and learned that 90% of LEO's in his dept. are vets or reservists which makes them MY brothers too. Thank you or your sacrifices and much respect.

IMO, I wouldn't let that crap slide.....she shouldn't have to prove anything to them, they most likely did it because they thought it would be funny or to intimidate her.  I believe in 1 thing, fairness.  If you report them to the appropriate people and they say "just go to bed" then I'd go up the chain even higher.  it's amazing how people will cooperate with you throw in the words "national television would hear about this".  You'll see how menay people treat her right if you said Dateline NBC or something was willing to listen to the story and write a letter to prove it.

Again, just my :2cents:
