Hey gang..
I'm putting on the final touches on my friend's '71 Challenger R/T's rallye dash.. I have everything for the most part buttoned up.. I have a question about two things...

1. what's the routing of the, what I believe is, the ignition light and
2. the dash lighting.. I'm assuming it fishes from behind under the dash and dash frame to the front where they plug into the bulb openings...

Thanks in advance... Unfortunately, I'm not the one that disassembled the dash and took it out of the car, so I'm going on obvious intuition and help from y'all...

the dash lights route over the top of the frame near the speaker at the right corner of the cluster & drop down to the triple orange plug near the ashtray
 the light comes down the column & follows the Turn signal switch wires up to the main harness where the delay plugs in as well

Great !!!  Thanks Chryco... Where does the delay mount? I see the terminal end for it, it's part of this key-light harness.

the delay mounts nowhere , it just hangs by the column
BTW the harness is too far left , the double hanger has the plugs to the column going through the center of the double supports & the orange plug should end up near the ashtray

Soo, if I'm understanding you, there's the "Y" that splits the harness basically into two halves from the bulkhead/column area of the harness. The part of the harness that splits to the column should be positioned in the middle of the double fingered support? That should be easy enough to adjust since the dash is still on my bench....

You must be referring to something like this? I utilized a previous thread's picture..
