Wiper motor color?

FIRST OFF, this is NOT a show car and I do not worry about it being original. I do want the engine and bay to look nice, and since the motor is out and its freshly painted, I want to paint my wiper motor. What color was used for this application. I thought I could remember silver and gold? This is a standard 2 speed motor on a 72 Cuda. I plan to use some red oxide primer on the face of the motor connections, dripping of course![/b]

thanks, I just painted mine silver, will do that center w/primer tomorrow, not perfect but not bad.....

Where are you in TN?
