Overhead console light
« on: July 25, 2007 - 09:46:48 PM »
Finally got the headliner back into the car.  Never again.

Two questions if someone can help.

On the overhead console there are three bulbs.  Fuel, door, seat?  I forget which bulbs plug in where.  Can someone tell me the sequence (wire color) from left to right.

Also, in the overhead harness there is a gray fround wire.  At the front of the console I would assume it is grounded to the frame.  At the back, by the overhead light, it has a spade type plug.  I don't have anything to plug it into.  Any suggestions.

Appreciate it.

the spade type plug plugs into the light. that's the only part of the console I've messed with.

I think there is aspade lug that plugs into the little metal frame that the light snaps into. Thats where it gets its ground. Lemme see if I have a pic. You may recall I installed an overhead console in my 72 with the vinyl headliner. Its fully functional and looks like it shipped that way  :cooldancing:
