« on: July 30, 2007 - 11:59:10 PM »
does anyone know of a company that makes an aluminum water pump housing with a outlet on the passenger side. i am installing a march serp. pulley set and need a pump housing style with the inlet neck bolts parallel with the radiator and not on an angle like my currrent one. any help would be great. i would even take an iron housing if thats all i could find

I've got the March single belt serp, and the double belt serp conversions... What "angled bolt" are you talking about? IN both cases, they have driver's side inlet housings, and no fitment issues because of that. In fact, if it's a single belt serp kit, and the inlet is on the pass side, you may have interference issues with the Powermaster type Alternator and AC. There are no aluminum versions of the RH inlet. And I wasnt thrilled with the 440 source water pump housings.

Most every 400 block has a passenger side sucker.  And mopar did make a 400 pass side aluminum housing. I have seen them.  If you pm v8440 a member here, he has one I am sure. probably 3 or 4. Not hard to find if I am on the same page as you, which I think I am...Big block b engine 73 or so and up

All of the 400s and late model 440s had the passenger side inlet water pump housing.
