'70 Challenger for sale
« on: July 16, 2007 - 01:54:21 PM »
I have been debating for months whether or not to do this, but I think I have to sell my Challenger.  I bought it about a year and a half ago with the intention of restoring it, but then I found the '71 Cuda. The Challenger is a 1970, plain JH 318 car. Now has a rebuilt 400.  The car is mostly disassembled right now, but I think almost all the parts are there.  The car needs floor pans & trunk pan.  The body looks straight, but there is some bondo in the quarters.  The frame rails look good except some rust in the very back sections.  I have driven the car around my house, the engine runs good.  If you are just looking for a driver, all you should have to do is repace the floor & trunk pans & slap some paint on it & put it back together.  It has a rally dash, but I am not sure if the guages work or not, I think the speedo needle is broken.  I bought a whole new Legendary interior, seat covers, carpet & headliner, they are still in original boxes.  It has a B&M shifter, but I have an extra trans hump with all the brackets along with a '70 console.  I am asking $8,000 OBO.  If it doesn't sell here soon, I will probably try it on ebay.

I think your price is quite reasonable. Unfortunately I'm not in the market for a project right now.
