Anyone have a '70 Cuda without ECS?
« on: July 28, 2007 - 10:50:30 PM »
I have a '70 Cuda with ECS.  It's some kind of vapor recirculation system made for California.  I want to know if the non ECS cars don't have this oval hole in the floor or if there is a plate that covers it up.  I'll buy a plate if the reman them.  If not I'll have to make one.

Thanks,
drag-n

I have a '70 Barracuda (non-California) and this is what's in my trunk. Not sure if this'll help answer your question though.

JayBee,
Yes, that helped.  I saw those plates on the YearOne website.  Are there any filters at the top of the vent tubes?

Thanks,

Those aren't tubes, it's one continuous tube that bends to and up the trunk brace, the back down. One end (under the trunk) has a rubber hose connected to it and goes to gas tank. The other end (also under the trunk) is about 9 inches long and just points to the ground behind the tire kind of above the spring. There are no filters.
