hurst quarter stick pistol grip

have any of you used one of these shifters? i think they look pretty cool and i would really like to get one for my car!

I haven't but it would be the same as any cable shifter, just a different shifter itself. It does look good though. I prefer the slap-stik with or without a Harms pistol grip shifter though. Every GM & Ford man & his dog has a cable shifter in their 350 Chev Camaro with sheep skin seats so why be like them?

The slap-stik is better and more respected shifter in the automotive industry, plus you don't use the plastic cables but actual steel rods. If you have a custom or drag car I could see the point of using them. I have seen a couple of photos of people who installed them directly into their console, looked pretty good as far as those shifters go.

If you want to go with something other than a factory shifter, try a Tubro-Action shifter. Made well, works great and looks good...

I have installed a few of the Hurst Pistol grip , they work ok , still can`t beat a slapstick
