Would be interesting to see what the result would be to run a temporary wire from the sending unit directly to the gauge...might be some loss in the old harness similar to what is seen in other areas.

Hmmmmmm now you guys got me thinkn'.... Great info.! I was running cooler. Now she run's around half. I'll have to start checking wiring/grounds.
