Who's valve covers? The only set I used needed the holes to be enlarged to line up properly, and the gasket rails were not 100% flat. They sealed fine, even with lash adjustments. But I know of a friend who got a set of the same type I had, who had to mill them flat on a bridgeport to ge tthe gasket surfaces flat. His were WAY out.
