Transmission ID

Can anyone break down these numbers off the trans that was behind the 440 in my Challenger? The numbers on the last two pics are difficult to read even in bright sunlight :sly: The VIN is, I believe, from a 69 New Yorker 4dr 440 car (CM43K9G171119)...  :dunno:

It seems that 2648 corresponds to October 27, 1969 assuming, of course, that the same julian calendar was used for engines as well as for transmissions; 7163 the production sequence number. Can someone with a 1969 Parts Book shed some light on 2892092?

Will a 727 from a 350 horse (more assuming :bricks1:) 69 440 work behind a mildly built 71 non-hp 440? :dunno: Crud, I ought to name my car Heinz :crazy:

2892092=  '69 8-400 350 HP
               '69 8-440
               Imperial '69
               Plymouth '69 8-440

That core will work fine.
