A New one to me????

  just found this one out while looking for a challenger/cuda sqaud car for the other post.Anyone ever heard of a dodge Lafemme before.it was made in 1955 with 1500 units built and in 1956 1000 units made.it was made for the womens market in mind although i think MEK may have one stashed somewhere.      it looks like it went awash with their sales and was dumped after two years.
JACKIE,LAURA And APRIL This one sounds right up your alley Maybe jackie and april should sell their e-bodies and start looking for one of these.      hope this works or someone help me out,thanks.

No wonder they didn't sell very many. Back in those days, women were driving, but the men were buying the cars. And they might have to drive the car themselves, or at least borrow it, so there was no way any guy was going to buy something with a name like that.

  I Thought the same thing when seeing the name of the car,thats why i had to check it out because i never herd of one before.

Definately heard of a LaFemme. Cool body for the 50s, Just the wrong colors for a man. Had the the opportunity to trade a 69 Dart GTS conv  for one about 15yrs ago and declined cause of the color combo. My wife would of loved it!

Take the money from your 71, find a complete 55 or 56 La Femme, drop a Hemi (of your choice) in her, and Voila!! a 55 or 56 La F'Hemme. You just know people will pronounce it "HEMI" and there you go
