brake assistance please

I'm in the process of moving. The 69' Barracuda lost a brake cylynder seal. I need to re-build it. Temporarily I'd like to dis-connect the rear brakes so I don't contaminate the pads. I'm only going mayby 5 miles. Slow,In town driving.   What's the best way to do this?    Thanks

if it's a dual resevoir master cylinder, buy an inverted flare "plug" (same threads as the brake line at the master cylinder with a cone seat) and use the plug to temporarily replace the line to the rear brakes.

put a vice grip on the rear hose above the diff

put a vice grip on the rear hose above the diff

then replace it after since the line gets torn up internally doing that.  (had a car at work have a rear brakes dragging after another shop did the brakes. There were plier marks on it, it can, and might, restrict flow back to the m/c causing them to drag.  )

I have new lines waiting to go on. So kinking the line is no loss.  Can I kink just the one side?
